Take a self-guided audio exploration and discover the unknown stories of familiar places. Created by DIS-cour.se in collaboration with a group of Melbourne-based emerging writers, the tour is designed to complement our Cathedrals of Culture screenings. It takes the form of a narrated audio stream complemented by a psychogeographical map - offering an 'urban dérive' between ACMI and MPavilion. Also known as an “unplanned journey through a landscape”, this particular dérive invites you to experience a well-known stretch of Melbourne via a new, multi-dimensional narrative.

From the famed improv house Upright Citizen’s Brigade, to a groundbreaking self-conceived web series, and finally to the breakout Comedy Central hit of the same name, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer have built their Broad City from the ground up. Wrapping its first season earlier this year, Broad City introduced viewers to the often chaotic and profoundly funny world of fictional Abbi & Ilana, outsized versions of the show’s creators/stars themselves.
