This month's focus was on Feminism and Female Empowerment and we are excited to introduce our incredibly talented and experienced guest speakers: Adetola Adedipe (@alot.of.poetry) and Saman Saeed. In this episode, we focus on how racial and gender inequality have impacted POC women, and the strength it takes to overcome the resulting obstacles. We focus on the negative association with the word feminism through analyzing the Ted-Talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie titled "We Should All Be Feminists", and how we as a society need to work on bridging the gap of gender inequality.
