Vidpet [Collector]

1h 7m · Published 30 Dec 15:00

Vidpet started trading crypto in 2017 and never really found a passion with day trading. When he saw the alien Cryptopunk sale in early 2021, he knew he wanted to dive into the world of NFTs. With a childhood in Hungary comprised of collecting basketball cards, he felt NFTs ignite his collector passion again. Vidpet shares his journey in NFTs and how he has come to appreciate historical projects like Mooncats, Lunartoken, Cryptopunks, Realms of Ether, and more. We also talk about crypto gaming and all of the potential for NFTs in the gaming space. There are many categories of NFTs and we talk about how you can begin to see what has long term potential versus what is just the flavor of the week.

Anthony Ventura [Creator]

1h 19m · Published 21 Dec 15:30

Anthony Ventura, aka πΈπ“‹π‘œπ“π“‹π‘’-𝑅 on Twitter, is an award winning Illustrator from Canada whose work has appeared worldwide in various publications, advertising and multi-media. Some clients have included Playboy, Rolling Stone, Doritos, ESPN X-Games, and SPIN magazine to name a few. It is not often that I speak with an artist who has successfully navigated an entire career before entering NFTs and Anthony offers some incredible insight that he has used from his larger career to help him find success in the new world of NFTs. Anthony was actually the first artist I purchased an NFT from on the now defunct Hic et Nunc, a marketplace for Tezos based NFTs. In this episode we talk about Anthony's career, his inspirations, advice for managing your money as an artist, and the connections and relationships he has made since entering into the NFT space. This is an episode you don't want to miss!

OwlThor [Creator]

From working in construction to being on the set of the a Superman movie, he isn't short on incredible (and hilarious) life experiences. Hearing these stories and his hardships you can tell that OwlThor isn't your typical NFT artist. Sit back, relax, and enjoy an episode that is full of many laughs and life lessons.

THE Goober [Creator]

1h 26m · Published 14 Dec 15:30

THE Goober is such a unique, caring, and thoughtful person in the NFT space. After living a life like he has, some would find it impossible to be so positive and uplifting of others. Hear Dave's story and how his life transformed him as a person and into the artist that he is today. With his collection, 100 Goobers, Dave is focusing creating a community around fun and engagement. He often hosts Twitter Spaces where he simply is there to help other project creators and artists ask questions and get advice on their projects. Beyond his 100 Goobers project, Dave has released projects on Tezos, Foundation, Showtime, and many other platforms. His passion and drive are second to none and we always need more people like Dave to lend a helping hand to people just getting started in the space.

SarahJ [Collector]

1h 11m · Published 09 Dec 15:30

Sarah and I have a long history together in the NFT world. We first met in the early days of the TRI3ES project and it became clear that Sarah was always thinking about how to help the projects she became involved with. Before long, Sarah was promoted within the TRI3ES Discord and is now a main community leader there. Helping with drops, managing the community, and staying active and stimulating the chat. Sarah was someone I began to see all over different Discords and it seemed like she was everywhere I was except she was always moving up the latter and becoming involved with every community. In this episode we talk about Sarah's experience in NFTs, how we met, and how we both came to work together in the Bloot Discord. Sarah is someone who somehow finds the time to do all of this while also holding a full-time job and being a mother. It is truly astounding to hear how involved she is with so many projects and how she still finds time to do anything outside of NFTs. Sarah also lets us in on what it has been like to be a woman involved in so a male-dominated space and some of the obstacles and pitfalls that come with that.

SalvoIn3D [Creator]

1h 4m · Published 07 Dec 15:30

SalvoIn3D, AKA Salvo, is the type of person who turns inspiration into action. After seeing artists like Beeple and their success in the NFT world and specifically the 3D surrealist world, he wanted to dive in head-first. He started learning how to render 3D scenes and how to take ideas from his head and make them a reality. With just his laptop and imagination, he began his journey. It is always difficult to learn new tools and get past the phase of not knowing how to create something that you have in your head. Salvo got over this hump quickly and found himself able to create worlds, art, and scenes that he had no idea where to even start just months prior. He began releasing on Foundation, HEN, and more recently he was accepted on KnownOrigin which is no easy feat. He also has his Daily Renders which he drops on OpenSea. Hear Salvo's story and how driven he is to make an impact in the art world and you will be just as convicted as I am in his future success.

Mister Goldie [Creator]

1h 10m · Published 02 Dec 15:30

Mister Goldie is someone that I believe we all can be inspired by. He discovered NFTs about 6 months ago and decided to take his shot. Inspired by some of his favorite artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, you can see that Mister Goldie has an innate understanding of color and composition. It is easy to see why in the 6 months he has been doing this that his work is getting featured all around the world. Currently living in Chicago, Mister Goldie is embedding himself into the emerging NFT scene in the city. You can often see his work on display in the local gallery imnotArt. We are only just at the beginning of his career and all signs point to him being a huge name in NFTs for years to come.
