Episode 266 - Chris Mulkey

56m · Published 10 Sep 19:55

My guest today is Chris Mulkey. He is a man of many talents, and I am thrilled to have him on the show! He is an actor that has appeared in countless film and TV roles going back to the mid 70's. What you may not know is that he is also an incredible musician and plays a mean guitar. Needless to say, we had a lot to talk about! We started things off by discussing his latest film "The Surface". It is out now on DVD and VOD. Most of the action takes place on a boat in the middle of Lake Michigan. His co star is Sean Astin, and both actors do an amazing job with this remote setting. Learn more at www.thesurfacemovie.com. We later turn the discussion to music, and this man has some stories! Three of his songs are included with this episode. Look for his albums on Amazon. Follow Chris on Twitter and check out his IMDB page to see his impressive list of projects both past and present. You can also find him at www.chrismulkey.com. If you reach out, please let Chris know that you heard him here first. Enjoy!

Episode 265 - Madellaine Paxson

55m · Published 02 Sep 15:15

My guest today is Madellaine Paxson! She is making her directorial debut with the movie Blood Punch. It is available now on VOD, DVD, and iTunes. It has won several awards on the festival circuit, and I highly recommend it. The story grabbed me in the first two minutes, and did not let go until the end credits. Madellaine told me how she and the cast worked together on the 17th season of Power Rangers RPM, and her work as a writer at Walt Disney TV Animation. Blood Punch is quite the departure from that side of her career, and it was very interesting to learn about what inspired her to create it. Learn more at www.bloodpunchmovie.com. If you reach out to Madellaine, please let her know that you heard her here first. Enjoy!

August is coming to a close, and I haven't posted any new episodes. Have no fear, there is no "pod fade" in this broadcaster's future! The last part of the summer just flew by! I have been busy making memories with my family and seeing some amazing concerts. I needed new experiences to talk about on the podcast, and I am ready to rock. We went to see Cheap Trick and Peter Frampton, Robert Plant, and ended the summer with a 5 Seconds of Summer show in Hershey, PA. We also spent a few days in NYC where we saw U2 at Madison Square Garden, Wicked, and Penn & Teller on Broadway.

I have two new episodes ready to roll for early September, and some great guests lined up for the coming weeks and months. Many of you have been getting caught up on my previous 264 episodes, and I really appreciate that! Stay tuned for Episode 265 & beyond. Thank you for listening!
