Saniyyah Bilal is an experienced runway and print model who lives in New York but has roots in Philadelphia. Saniyyah has modeled in Faatimah Gamble's annual fashion show, Brooklyn Fashion Week, and NYFW. She has been published in the international magazine Gaya Magazine, featured in Allure, worked with Verona Collection and Natasha Denona LLC. Saniyyah is a skincare ambassador for Ambi Skin products and a contestant on The Fashion Hero TV show. Her latest project featured as a model has just come out with @the jeanniemai's clothing line featured on @therealdaytime television show. Dr. Kayla Renee Wheeler is an assistant professor of Critical Ethnic and Black Studies and the Africana Studies Program Director at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Wheeler shares her research and expertise in contemporary Islam and Muslim fashion. Dr. Wheeler is currently writing a book entitled, Fashioning Black Islam, which provides a history of Black Muslim fashion in the United States from the 1930s to the present.
