Romina Takimoto is native to Honolulu, Hawaii and has been living in St.Paul MN for 15 years. She is the founder and natural cosmetics formulator of ROMI Apothecary, a collection of artisanal skincare products made from Minnesota grown medicinal herbs. Romina's plant path was sparked in 2016 after meeting Rosemary Gladstar at the Midwest Women's Herbal Conference. Romina realized that plants have been there for her all her life and it was just a matter of tuning in to cultivate that rich connection.

Ayana Young is a podcast and radio personality specializing in intersectional environmental and social justice, deep ecology and land-based restoration. With an academic background at the intersections of ecology, culture, and spirituality, Young was studying at Columbia when the Occupy Wall Street movement began and amid the burgeoning resistance in Zuccotti Park, she co-created the Environmental Working Group.
