NT Filmmakers Podcast

It’s time again for the Darwin International Film Festival, affectionately known as DIFF.

This is the 10th anniversary year for DIFF, and the line-up of amazing films, both local and international, is outstanding.

In this episode, we’ll hear the presentation given by Blandine Ruffo, the manager of DIFF, at the program launch held last week.

We’ll also hear from some of the writer/director/producer teams for films selected for the 2019 Spark Initiative.

For those of you not familiar with the Spark Initiative, this is a special program run by Screen Territory, in conjunction with DIFF, to provide support and funding for the production of four short films.

The films will be screened on Saturday 14 September 2019, at the Deckchair Cinema.

In this, our milestone 10th episode, I’ll be interviewing Lexie Gregory, the writer and star of an upcoming short film, “Couch”, as well as the Director Thomas Midena and the Director of Photography Jacob Hazeldine. This will be the first ever group interview on the NT Filmmakers Podcast.
