He also runs SPF (SPF as in Self-Publishing Formula...not the stuff that keeps my skin from burning) with Mark Dawson where they produce the Self-Publishing Show podcast, many renowned indie author courses and more. 

Jame wrote his first book Final Flight in 2021 and came out with his second this June 2022.

Fiction From Memory with Lisa Solod

How much personal experience can you use in your novels? Where is the line between novel and memoir?

Today I speak with Lisa Solod who used the memories of her mother suffering from Alzheimer's to create a beautiful novel called Shivah: A Novel from Memory. We talk about how fiction cn sometime be more impactful than nonfiction and how a writer can find distance in a subject that they're close to by allowing themselves to write a fictinalized story instead of memoir.

Bloodlines Reforged with RJ Hanson

RJ Hanson began his love for all things fantasy at the age of 5. In 1978, when his mother bought him the Rankin & Bass production of The Hobbit, a 24 page read along with the record children's book, RJ's imagination was opened to a new world. Reading Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore, Terry Brooks, Robert E. Howard, Stephen King and even Louis L’Amour, RJ began constructing worlds and characters of his own.

RJ began writing at the age of twelve, however didn’t begin his writing career until the age of forty-five.
