We thought there were only four books in the Fireblood Dragon series and there are currently ten! We referenced the "fated mates" trope which is common in fantasy romance. This refers to the two love interests being fated to be together, like soulmates, for biological, spiritual or other reasons, that the reader is left to figure out! Commonly, at least one of the love interest recognises this fact. Our definition as we understand it, and we'd love to hear from you if you think there are further distinctions or restrictions.
