Oh wow, you know what they say about riding a bike? Podcasting after an eight month hiatus is not like that. But Lucas and I got back on the mic to talk about some shows that frankly, just didn't do it for us, and shared what's been on our TV minds since April. It's not perfect, but when is Basic Cable ever the pinnacle of fine audio production? Bear with us as we get out podcast legs back. Who knew Amy Schumer would have such a delightful cooking show? WE DID. Because her schtick is LITERALLY just Basic Cable in the kitchen. We cover a ton of trash TV that's in no way good for us, and then Carlie's excellent mom returns for a quick segment about the return of Detective Elliot Stabler to a TV near you. Carlie and Katie also talk about the most recent developments to the Varsity Blues scandal -- there's really something for everyone!
