In our 7th episode, it's Halloween Week! Everyone be safe and enjoy all that candy. In this episode, our guest is Mike Mondello of SeaBear Wild Salmon and Made in Washington. This Friday, November 2nd, the Flagship Made in Washington store at Pike Place Market will be having their remodeled Grand Opening starting at 10am as they relaunch their store with a heightened focus on celebrating the regions' foods, especially the SeaBear Wild Salmon products. The Made in Washington store will be having Weekend specials throughout including FREE Smokehouse Tasting Flights and other local product samples. Head down this weekend to Pike Place Market and try out what Washington State has to offer. In addition, Monica and Nelson also talk about other food events this week, including a change in Fried Chicken Sandwich windows at Rachel's Ginger Beer in Capitol Hill, a Shave Ice and Bubble Tea Shop in the SLU you need to check out, a popular burger joint officially opening in Ballard, a new place in Bellevue serving Chinese Street Food, and much, much more!

In the 6th episode, Monica and Nelson sit down with Instagram Foodie Influencer, @forkdeep, Nkosazana Bambata. We discuss her transition from the East Coast to Seattle and the differences in food between the two coasts. We also chat with her about her baking and cooking skills. In addition, we talk about Low Rider Baking Co.'s new residence in Georgetown and a new Cinnamon Roll shop hitting up Capitol Hill with a Grand Opening promotion. Finally, since we've been hanging out more than usual this past week, Monica and I do a week in review as we talk about some of the Events we had the privilege to attend recently.

In the 5th episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast, we talk with Chef Thai Ha of Mangosteen and find the back story of how Mangosteen was created. Plus, we chat about how their famous Chicken Wings originated and why they are so good!
