What's Your Name
3m · PublishedMusic By: Ahmed Hussein: Spotify handel: @USTATH
What’s your name
It don’t matter you ain’t got fame
Societies response to a nobody
So get your ass up and be a somebody
Ain’t no time to be a bum and let shit drop in your laps,
Running incomplete laps
While the rest are preparing for sprints
For a prize,
Which you’ll idolize
You must be thinking
What’s this Kat thinking
All up my business, personal space and bubble
Looking for trouble
See I ain’t here to give you a lecture
On how to be the next great rapper
I’m here to get you thinking
On future you’ll be missing
See I had my fair share of procrastinating
Day dreaming and contemplating
Of the things that could be
If I applied my talent where it needed to be
It’s the same mistakes
That everybody makes
Thinking they have time, sitting idol
Imagining themselves on American Idol
Don’t base your success on likes and shares
Those are illusions to make you care
Thinking you the next
fresh prince of belle air
Success and failures come and go
They don’t define you
Rather build you
For how far you’ll go
Everyone’s got a hustle
Who can put something on the table
But it’s really about determination
Who can move mountains with their ambition
If your motivation is money
You’ve lost half the battle buddy
Money will buy you popularity
But it will suck you dry of integrity
Ask yourself a question
How you going to impact the next generation
A one time hit on social media and a forgotten name
Or in the books for hall of fame
Now you wondering why am I pushing?
Cause you have something special brewing
Look in the mirror, You’ll see greatness
A man destined for success
Look you got two choices
Sit on your bum and tell stories
Or apply yourself, hard work and talent
Take center stage and be today’s talent
It’s free advise
Take or leave it
No body holding you at gun point
To accept it
Just remember it’s in your hands
Where you land
On the streets and wondering what if
Or up in Beverly Hills
Releasing the next hit!
Today is tomorrow’s past
What you do now, will last
It’s not about writing history
It’s about writing a perfect story
Nothing To Lose
2m · PublishedMusic By: Ahmed Hussein: Spotify handel: @USTATH
Nothing to lose
It’s a rouse
A fine print clause
The powerful abuse
Politicians making millions, On the backs of millions
Its a new normal, same illusions
Media conspiracies
Revolving around economies
Publicizing fantasies
Hiding realities.
Broken hopes, shattered dreams
Unheard screams and broken mirrors
Filled with horrors, of depression
A reflection
Built through aggression
A future desolate
Are we late?
gift from the present
Mistakes, not presents
Blinded by greed
Planted by a seed, jealousy and need.
Money talks, money walks
Up the beanstalk
Chasing a prized stock
The golden egg
While the poor beg
Promise to reach the top
Not knowing when to stop
It’s a race, rats race
reach a space
Surrounded by shiny walls, fancy glitter
Expensive suits that matter
Cars, wealth etc
A sense of power
To over throw and conquer
The weaker opposition
In a perfect position
To be the master of oppression
Traits of an opportunists
Similar to a capitalist
Ideal hypocrites
A prerequisite
Validated and meant
For the next president
Spreading lies and deceit
With a power of a tweet
A few characters
But not the right character
Likes and shares
Toppings for your welfare
That’s all they care
A feed full of hype
Attracting a certain type
Claiming knowledge from a book
Unreliable source, Take a Guess, Facebook
Masters of corruption
The worlds destruction
That’s the future
Not so secure
Hanging by a thread
While the scholars read
We are slaves and unfed
The disclaimer we all ignore
Cause we want more!
Money, power and fame
It’s all the same
Struggle and hustle
Put food on the table
Survival of the fittest
If you’re the richest.
So how do we choose
Right or wrong
The list is long
Bureaucrat or realist
Shit I don’t know
I’m an idealist.
2020 Year of Progression
3m · PublishedIt's 2020, a year of progression
But it feels like we’re in recession,
People wondering where it went wrong
2008 is far gone,
Men still hanging on hope
Preached by Obama, dope.
Its the same story
Governments bask in their glory,
All pathetic lies
Media fooling our eyes,
Stuck in this trance
Blinded by ignorance.
I know a man called John Doe,
Hates to associate with any status quo.
Looks out the window at people fighting,
Fueling, the media’s ratings.
White, black, brown it don't matter
As long as it's change, it's better
The rich spilling money thinking it's a game,
While the middle class waiting to make a name.
Keep telling yourself
You're on the right side
Where in fact you're just here for the ride.
Making noise, he's not my president
Now you're stuck like a non immigrant,
Walking around with signs protesting
shouting on top of your lungs resisting,
If thats all it takes to change a world
Don’t you think we would be free of war and drugs.
Stars, stripes, red and blue are not just shapes and colors to you
It's sweat and blood of millions before you.
Take a moment and realize an opportunity
To stand together and get rid of bigotry,
We are evolved from just right or left wing
We are a conscious being.
Let's put a side our differences,
What we feel deep inside to be suffering.
Let's prove the world wrong
That we are not far from gone
08 may be in the past,
But the future is what we cast.
We are one nation,
filled with love, gratitude and emotion.
Not divided but united
ready to be lifted
By the anthem so strongly we listen.
A strong reminder in any season
Its the United States of America.
From New York to California.
