We've transitioned into the new year and so I have a story all about the beauty of life and new beginnings waiting for us right around the corner. The Velveteen Rabbit is a beloved story from my childhood and likely from yours too. I remember how, as a child, I used to play with my own toys and dream of what it would be like if they were real. As I re-read this story now, I’m struck by how there is always a new chapter ahead even when it is hard to see it.

I'm sure many of you are going through some challenges right now – life can get messy and complicated. I hope this story reminds you that even within the struggles we face, there are always sweet moments to be found. These sweet moments make up this patchwork thing we call life. Here’s to your brand-new year, coming with gifts and surprises for you!

Can you believe it?!!? I mean, REALLY, can you believe that this is the final chapter of The Enchanted April??? Can you even handle it? I mean, I barely can and I'm only the one on this side of the screen. It is as beautiful, elegant and just as awkward as you have come to expect of our incredible ladies. I promise you will not be disappointed.

There are many strands of the story and as we are winding things up, we must find a place for each of these strands. With the beauty of last week's chapter - Rose's husband appearing, as if from thin air - that is one major strand of the story finding a home, and yet, you will see the end of the strand still has a few untucked mini strands still to be taken care of. In this chapter we will see a few of these frayed ends pop up to entertain us just a little bit more. Come join me on this part of the journey, to enjoy the next (and almost the last) chapter of The Enchanted April.
