Stuff OSU Should Know

We thought the Monday after Calf Fry the best day to release the first episode in our new series: the Relationship Podcast. Stuff OSU Should Know spent weeks anonymously surveying our fellow Pokes to learn what they knew, did not know, and wanted to know about navigating relationships as a college student at OSU. For this first pilot episode, we discuss the top three areas of interest or concern among all the students we polled: making the first move, hookup culture, and long term relationships. Drew, Riley, Brooklyn, and Isaac sit down to talk through their differing experiences and perspectives in these areas, and end by sharing a couple of the many funny stories we heard from OSU students in response to our survey.

Stuff OSU Should Know is back for its 8th season with a new group of students running the show! To kick off this new season, we overview special events and dates for you to keep in mind for the month of February, both on- and off-campus. Celebrate Black History Month. In this final installment of the POP for the Fall 2023 semester, Julianna, Camie, and Aubree relive the highs and lows of the second half of the Oklahoma State football season - from the field-storming festivities of the last and best Bedlam, to the UCF blowout (blowup?), and the recent close call against BYU. Hopes are turned way up and horns way down for the Big 12 Championship this weekend! Go Pokes!

That said, given the shocking display on Farmhouse fraternity lawn discovered this morning after editing for this episode was complete: shoutout to the poor, beautiful creature found dead and disfigured. Hating on Longhorns should never lead to wasted life. Win or lose, keep it classy, Pokes.

Stuff OSU Should Know conducted an anonymous survey to gather confessions from students about their most intense experiences with roommates. In this episode we share their stories which range from funny pranks to cringe snacking habits, and beyond, and we offer suggestions for dealing with these awkward situations should you find yourself in the middle of one.
