That Aged Well

Happy December, listeners! As is tradition, Paul and Erika are spending the month deep in holiday classics, and first up this year is the Chevy Chase classic Christmas Vacation! Grab a cup of hot chocolate and cozy up with the Griswolds and That Aged Well!

It’s the finale of Classic Movie Month, and That Aged Well is diving headfirst into the empty pool that is 1955’s Rebel Without A Cause. Erika and Paul were both off guard by the James Dean film, even though it’s really just Grease 2: Son Of Grease mashed up with Paula Abdul’s Rush Rush music video. If you’ve never seen this film…buckle up, it’s not what you expect!

Did someone say Katharine Hepburn? Oh, it was just Paul and Erika shouting about her? Got it, got it. That Aged Well is talking 1967’s Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner, starring La Hepburn herself, alongside Spencer Tracy and Sidney Poitier!

Classic Movie Month gets on a bus and heads north to sell sex in New York City as Erika and Paul discuss 1969’s Midnight Cowboy! What are appropriate movies to be playing when one is having relations in a movie theater? What is the proper term for a female john? What the hell is Scribbage? All these questions and more on this week’s episode!

November is here and this year That Aged Well is tackling classic movies all month! We’re leaving behind yesterday’s pop culture and taking a swing at yesteryear’s…and it’s all kicking off with Audrey Hepburn’s star turn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Have you seen this movie? No. Is he able to admit when he is in the presence of greatness? Yes. Kathy Bates is reason enough that everyone should watch this film and listen to this episode!

Boo! It’s October and Paul has again been browbeaten into watching spooky movies all month…granted, Ghostbusters is hardly scary, but STILL!! That Aged Well dives headfirst into the full-torso, vaporous apparition that is the 1984 classic, and everyone comes out covered in ectoplasmic residue. It’s HOT!
