Beer Got Me Here

by Nicholas

I love craft beer... Everything about it. The community, the culture, the tours, the craftsmanship, the people... With this podcast, I explore personal experiences from past and now, brewery owners, home brewers, the experiences of others from all around, as well as food & drink business owners, and maybe some random chats/topics with a cold pint (or three). The podcast is split into two series, my standalone series, and the Rolling Hops Beer Tour series. Email: [email protected] Instagram: beergotmehere

River Road Brewing is a farm-based brewery located in Bayfield Ontario, a quaint town along the shores of Lake Huron, and the home of co-owner Nikki Andrew. Nikki started the brewery with her husband in 2017 on a former apple orchard, utilizing the acreage to grow their own produce thereby utilizing a majority of their own ingredients in their beer, also known as "Grain to Glass". Tim McLaughlin, VP of Marketing, takes the helm of chatting with us about the past, present and future of Steam Whistle. Their use of old-school retro branding echoes the breweries idea of making beer through quality that's built to last.
