In this special episode of Beer Here Now, we explore the subject of mental health.

Thornbridge Brewery's releasing 'Hope', a beer designed to highlight the issues around mental wellbeing.

The launch is in between Suicide Prevention Day and World Mental Health Day.

We hear from the brewery's Chief Exec Simon Webster about how the idea came about and what else Thornbridge is doing to highlight the issue.

James Creaghan from Derbyshire County Council tells us what they're doing to tackle mental health stigma and what help is available.

We also hear from Fay Parrish from the brewery about the launch event itself at Sheffield FC on 5 October, and where we can get a pint of Hope.

£10 from every cask and 50p from every pint sold on World Mental Health Day will be donated to North Derbyshire Samaritans.

The third of our Peakender episodes sees Adam host an interactive session in Tent 1 with Dom and Nick from the Thornbridge brew team.

Our second Peakender episode sees us meet the amazing Firestone Walker brewery from California.

Brewmaster Matt joins James and our live audience to discuss the brewery's origins, recent expansions and future aims.

In the first of our special Peakender episodes, we host the first Meet The Brewer event of the weekend in Tent 1. It's wet and it's windy but spirits are high as James chats to Rob about the brewery, his background, the future, and we try three Thornbridge beers with the audience

Adam and James report to the brewery to help with brew day... only to find there's a bit of a twist.

They spend the day at the original Thornbridge Hall site - where cask beers are still brewed - to get their hands dirty.

They also get a tour of the 12 acres of stunning gardens which encircle the hall and learn more about its history and current day use.

We find all about the new releases available in a Tesco near you right now: Yelamu, a Double IPA collaboration with Magic Rock; and Pink Grapefruit Halcyon, the latest fruity version of the classic Imperial IPA. Adam and James are joined by Thornbridge Field Sales Manager James Buxton and Export Manager James Buchanan to try out the beers.
