Why smartphones are going to be the future of filmmaking ? * Enough juice in them to capture long takes on a go and record for virtually unlimited length ( they come with 512 gb's of ram and soon will be available in multiples of terabytes ) * Quality of cameras has started to look so freaking professional, if a planned shot is taken today, its hard to see a difference if viewing on a small screen * If you were wondering, sensor size could never come closer, Xiaomi has launched Mi 11 Ultra with a sensor size of what Gopro hero 9 has ! and has willingly said #onyourfacemate *4k 120fps ( slow motion in 4k ) seems like the big deal with all cameras and phones in 2021 and will grow exponentially in next couple of years My prediction says by 2025, major filmmakers will have created at least 1 commercial project with their flagship or existing smartphones and by 2030, mobile filmmaking or smartphone filmmaking will see a new boom.
