With everything going on in America surrounding the injustice black people face, we want to do all we can to make sure their voices are heard and changes are made to correct the system, but after the protests end and we go home we often wonder "what do we do next?" On this episode I'm joined by Dallas protest organizers Danielau and Jacob Clayton to talk about what we can do to change this country for the better and insure the protection of black lives.

Finally did it! Finally got Sophia Thakur all the way from London to be on the show. My favorite poet, a dope poet, a poet living the dream.... Sophia Thakur starts off the episode giving us a new poem she wrote about "break ups" and that of course touched my soul. First question: how do you know when a poem is done? and then we take off with an amazing episode.

Finally Joe Henkel and I get together to record an episode, I've committed!

Joe Henkel and I speak about his writing process not being the same routine. We discuss how poets write about what we know and explains how there's poetry in the Bible. He also gives up his perspective on how someone can "get closer to God" or "get back on track with their faith" the answer to that is there is no list of things you can do but it's the small things that just bring you to your faith or remind you about your faith.
