...Having Written

by Jeffrey Ketcham

There's a famous Dorothy Parker quote, "I hate writing, I love having written." Each episode, I talk with a different fellow writer and discuss the preferences and practices that make them either love writing or love having written. Christine Burright Pt. 2

48m · Published 11 Sep 20:00

Christine Burright McGuigan is an Omaha native, aspiring sitcom maven, and awkward lady.

When not writing, reading, or watching TV (hey, it’s research) she can be found––well, pretty much nowhere because she doesn’t like leaving the house.

A 2018 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, she studied screenwriting and creative nonfiction. Attending college as an adult was fulfilling and rewarding, and also a crazy hellacious three years. While going to school and working two jobs, she also somehow found time to be a single mom to her son and yeah, sometimes letting your kid watch six straight hours of Gravity Falls counts as parenting.

Dave Nesbit Pt. 2

44m · Published 14 Aug 19:43

Dave is a writer and photographer who lives in Omaha, Nebraska. He is active in the arts and holds a weekly gathering for artists, nerds, and awesome people. He was originally from Wisconsin but seems to have escaped with minimal injuries. When I think of Dave, the word raconteur comes to mind, because he is a consummate storyteller, and it shows as our conversations tangent and devolves in the best of ways. Dave is the author of the novel Evolution and its much-anticipated sequel as well as being the contributing review writer for our own parent site Planet Fiction Productions. Please join us as we celebrate our 10th episode with part 2 of my discussion with Planet Fiction's own, Dave Nesbit!
