In this episode, we review the British philospher John Gray's book Black Mass. I talk about Gray's scathing criticism on Western civilization's pursuit of utopian projects. I also detail the historical narrative Gray develops by tracing the origins of utopianism all the way back to the beginnings of monotheism.
