BizQuiker - In Bed with the Devil

9m · Published 22 Dec 12:00

Welcome back to BizQuik! In today’s episode of BizQuiker Julie talks about the utility of a good partnership. It is not enough to have an easy, harmonious connection with your business partner. But a good “business marriage” also has the ability to have hard conversations upfront, and understands the importance of an amicable relationship.

Business partners should have the same goals, be supportive, hear each other, and be honest with one another. The alignment between partners having the same values and vision is not only great for business by the partnership itself. Compatibility is key to success. And a solid partner will go the distance with you and your shared business, creating opportunities for growth as you evolve.

Themes: Relationship congruency. Shared support. Vision. Cooperation. Operating Agreements.

Saving time, energy, and struggle through simplifying aspects of your business will create happiness and a better environment for you, customers, and employees. Because money freedom ≠ time freedom.

BizQuiker - The Art of Disruption

8m · Published 08 Dec 12:00

Welcome back to BizQuik!  In today’s episode of BizQuiker Julie talks about disruption, and what it’s doing to your brand.  Consumers today are served up over 1500 advertisements per day. These come in all forms, written, video, audio, online, television, newspaper, magazines, billboards.  The barrage on our brains is nearly endless.

In fact, we are so used to being bombarded by ads that we are trained to ignore almost all of them.  So, how do you get your ideal customer's attention without being an asshole?

Build trust.  Be transparent.  Be respectful of their time.  Communicate clearly.

BizQuiker - Protect Yourself

9m · Published 06 Dec 12:00

Welcome back to BizQuik!   Julie is coming in hot today talking about the protection that entrepreneurs most need, but seem to overwhelmingly fail to consider.  No, she isn’t talking about guns or condoms, she’s talking about legal protection.  Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contracts…

Not always the sexiest of topics (but honestly, so little of being an entrepreneur is actually sexy), but one that is necessary.  You only have to be burned once to know that a contract is important.  Early on in the life of SB PACE, Julie and Corey got burned for over $50,000 - and that’s a lesson Julie never wants to learn again, and a lesson she wants every entrepreneur to avoid.

You know how you can avoid it?  With a contract.  Tune in.

BizQuik Takeover with Michelle Fuller

10m · Published 01 Dec 12:00

Welcome back to BizQuik!   Today Transformational Coach Michelle Fuller is taking over BizQuik.  Julie is getting drunk in Vegas for her birthday (seriously, that’s what is happening right now!) and Michelle has taken over the mic to talk about changing your life.

This episode is a departure from most conversations on BizQuik, as this one is all about developing yourself personally.  It’s about changing your life by changing your mindset.  Taking control (responsibility!) of your decisions, and how you are just a few decisions away from transforming your life!

Tune in and enjoy the show!
