Career paths are rarely straightforward and it’s not always as simple as get this degree then get this role and work your way up to the top. So, don’t worry if you haven’t got it all figured out yet.

#12-A LAW DEGREE EXPLAINED

27m · Published 19 Feb 16:00

Today’s guest Lucy is a final year LLB Law student at Nottingham Trent University.

We’re going to cover everything involved in a law degree- covering first year, second year and final year. Looking at law example modules, entry requirements, work experience within the legal sector, example essay questions and tips for picking the right uni for you.

Lucy also explains how exactly you become a fully qualified solicitor or barrister. I’ve seen the TV show “Suits” on Netflix and being a lawyer looks really cool but I wouldn’t know where to start, so it’s always good to know the route.

And finally, a law degree doesn’t mean you have to become a solicitor or a barrister- I mean you can, but law degrees are still very valuable and can lead to some serious positions within a business- so please don’t rule this degree choice out.
