Matt Wilson is a commercial photographer who’s worked with celebrities, Olympic athletes and global brands.

On this episode, Matt tells his story from studying photography at university, to running his own business as a freelance photographer. We touch on the importance of owning your own portfolio and what it takes to make a living in this extremely competitive, yet rewarding, industry.

<p>So, a degree in Real Estate sounds quite fancy right- but what does it actually involve? You cant do real estate at GCSE or A-Level so its quite unknown to many of us.<p>

<p>Today’s guest Charlotte completed her Real Estate degree at the University of Reading and will be starting a graduate job with Cushman and Wakefield in September where she will hopefully go on to become a chartered surveyor.<p>

<p>Myself and charlotte will break down the degree, what you can expect, explain real estate modules and discuss roles you can go into when you graduate.<p>

<p>Also worth mentioning that Charlotte had various internships with top real estate firms so we can discuss what a role within real estate actually involves and how you can land some experience within the industry- which is so important for landing a graduate position.<p>

<p>It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to do once you leave school or graduate.<p>


<p>Career paths are rarely straightforward and it’s not always as simple as get this degree then get this role and work your way up to the top. So, don’t worry if you haven’t got it all figured out yet.<p>

<p>Today’s guest Heidi is an amazing example of this. Heidi has worked in various HR roles, she has worked in Parliament and also for a marketing consultancy. Heidi is currently a COO of a Healthcare Business Intelligence firm. <p>

<p>Today’s guest Lucy is a final year LLB Law student at Nottingham Trent University.<p>

<p>We’re going to cover everything involved in a law degree- covering first year, second year and final year. Looking at law example modules, entry requirements, work experience within the legal sector, example essay questions and tips for picking the right uni for you.<p>

<p>Lucy also explains how exactly you become a fully qualified solicitor or barrister. I’ve seen the TV show “Suits” on Netflix and being a lawyer looks really cool but I wouldn’t know where to start, so it’s always good to know the route.<p>

<p>And finally, a law degree doesn’t mean you have to become a solicitor or a barrister- I mean you can, but law degrees are still very valuable and can lead to some serious positions within a business- so please don’t rule this degree choice out.<p>

<p>Financial Crime and Compliance- a sort of mix between a detective and a lawyer. Well, it’s a bit more complex than that but todays guest Tetyana will properly explain the industry.<p>

<p>Tetyana has worked for a number of leading financial firms in London on things like e-communication surveillance and trade surveillance- so she is the one ensuring traders and bankers don’t plunge us into another financial crisis.<p>
