Last year these were my observations:

1. People are really focusing on one sport one strategy
2. Automation is growing
3. More people are coming into the trading world - Especially matched bettors
4. Simple is still key - set & forget
5. I love it

Looking at those I think what I have seen this year is:

1. Automation is what a lot of people are coming to us for
2. People don’t actually want to leave their jobs
3. Super Trader System
4. Nothings changed - value, strategy, data, mindset is still key.
5. I havent enjoyed it as much as I have before

Goals for next year

• Keep creating things that help traders
• Football back testing out - didn’t get that done this year!
• Get back to enjoying it
• Make the changes at BTC we have already started

I struggled working for ‘the man’. I never enjoyed being told what to do, answering to someone, felt a bit like a slave with no power and I hated it. The problem was my life was going by me and I did not feel I had a good quality of life, I was depressed, I was tired, I was struggling to put up a front that I liked my job. I had no interest in it and I was living paycheck to paycheck, waiting for a day off, like 5 days of the week no longer mattered or meant anything other than suffering. Depression, lack of free time, lack of quality time with friends and family, being a sheep and being told what to do.

Now... No longer do I have to ask someone if I can do something, I am my own man now. No longer do I have to pretend all day and keep a smile on my face when really I wanted to grimace at the thought of it all. No longer do I not have time to see my wife and kids, friends and family whenever the hell I want to.

Learning a new skill like Betfair trading could unlock the path to more freedoms pro traders are the living proof of this in action. Using Betfair trading software can not only improve your trading but save you a huge amount of time, a precious resource when we talk about having a good quality of life. Betfair Trading Community is a great place to talk about these issues and discuss the next steps with like minded people, who understand what you are going through.
