In this mini episode we talk about the 1995 film Se7en. We love a good theme and this rolls over nicely from I’ll Be Gone in the Dark. Our dive this week is a bit more about the genetics of psychopathy and how they’ve come to recognize the traits in children. It’s a tough topic but an interesting one.

This episode will be a little different. Instead of a basic summary of the book I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, we will talk about the Golden State killer who is the serial rapist and murderer the book was written about. We also talk about the author, Michelle McNamara, who sadly passed away before the killer was caught. Then we dive into more details about the genetics of psychopathy and answer the age old question, why were there so many serial killers in the 70’s and 80’s?

ALSO, we forgot to rate our book hangover so we’ll let you know now….Brandi gave it a 3, I loved the book so much I spent days telling ppl about it.

Today we're switching it up and delivering a mini episode again. We weren't 100% satisfied with our material for the full episode on I'll Be Gone in the Dark so we came up with something different. Since our IG manager, aka Gabriela's sister Vanessa, just passed her citizenship test (YAY! Congratulations) we had her ask her study questions and we gave our best answers.
