REPLAY: Didier Elzinga, CEO of Culture Amp

23m · Published 02 Oct 19:27

This week's Culture Makers episode is a replay of my 2019 (pre-pandemic!) interview with Didier Elzinga, CEO of Culture Amp a people and culture platform that helps companies around the world to gather insight and analytics on engagement and performance so that they can build and evolve high achieving teams.

So while a lot has changed in the world of work since this interview, I think you'll also hear that not a lot has changed when it comes to attitudes towards culture and there's still a lot of scope to do more! If anything, culture has become even more important since this interview.

Didier left a highly successful career in Hollywood to, in his own words, 'make a bigger dent on the universe' by building a global software company on a mission to create a better world of work.

Culture Amp now has offices around the world, a growing roster of clients and plenty of insights into what it actually means to create that better world of work. Culture Amp walks the talk when it comes to their own people and culture and Didier shares his unique insights on:

⚡ Being a culture-first company

⚡ How the company uses technology to build connections between its global workforce

⚡ On winning at culture - but doing it the right way

⚡ Shifting mindsets in business - the growing realisations that culture will kill if you get it wrong and that there is no finish line - culture is never 'done'

⚡ How knowledge is not enough and the work Culture Amp does in designing systems that support companies in being human

⚡ Why you can't copy culture

⚡ The idea of 'Peak Culture' and why it has to be OK to not always belong.

We had a fascinating conversation and you can find out more about Culture Amp here: https://www.cultureamp.com/
