I have joining me in the studio David Fradin, a seasoned expert whose journey through the tech landscape began way back in 1969 at iconic orginazations like Hewlett Packard & Apple. In fact, he was at the same management level as none other than Steve Jobs himself.

David's wealth of knowledge isn't just historical; he continues to shape the tech and management industry through his professional development company, Spice Catalyst.

From crafting insanely great products to mastering the intricacies of product management and marketing, David has left an indelible mark on countless managers worldwide. With a staggering portfolio of 75 products and services and 11 startups, his insights are a treasure trove of wisdom.

But that's not all- David is also an accompllshed author, with three fabulous books under his belt: "Building Insanely Great Products," Organizing and Managing Insanely Great Products," and "Successful Product and Design Management."

Today's guest is internationally recognised professor of cognitive neuroscience, Dr Mark Williams.

Mark has over 25 years experience conducting behavioral and brain imaging research focusing on our social skills. He has taught the fundementals of neuroscience to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as publishing more than 70 scientific articles.

Mark has been awarded numerous high profile fellowships and grants, and worked both at MIT in the USA and at universities in Australia. 

He now focuses on making the many recent discoveries in cognitive neuroscience more accessible to the general public. His academic background allows him to communicate with authority on science and his passion for education makes him accessible to a wide audience. 

Not a typical 'academic', Mark comes from a disjointed family background. He hated school and experienced first-hand the challenges of getting ahead in a small town in Victoria, Australia. To describe these years as 'colourful' is an understatement. 

Aged 25, something changed. Mark returned to learning, completed his High School education and began what became a rapid rise to academic achievement, including being awarded both the CJ Martin and the Queen Elisabeth II Fellowships. 

He became facinated with how we interact, learn and think. Mark went on to study brain plasticity, attention disorders, autism, prosopagnosia (face blindness), demetia and eating disorders. He has been at the cutting edge of developing computational brain imaging analysis and the adoption of new technologies like virtual reality in research.  

He now runs programs for schools and businesses on the neuroscience of learning, the neuroscience of emotions and the impact of modern technologies (like smartphones) on our brains.

Out of options to control his restless mind, he decided to try meditation for just a couple of minutes per day. After a month or two he noticed that he felt calmer and his anxiety was diminishing. I was completely in awe at what danyelle has achieved in her life. danyelle grew up believing that she was the product of her dysfunctional environment but something in her changed. danyelle realized that she could either repeat the past and go down the same path as her family or could change her future and the future of those she loved. 

Trouble was danyelle never had a model to replicate, she had to shape her future from ground zero.
