Episode 3 Purposeful Work Series : An in-depth exploration.

20m · Published 27 Jul 21:28
I am excited to bring to you this episode (3 of 4) of the Purposeful Work Series. I am making a case for purposeful work in a world where we have created a paradigm where most people are not able to find paid work that draws on their strengths and qualities. I talk to my clients and what I cannot help but notice is how they are trying so hard to hold it together emotionally so that they can function on the surface. However, that eventually rears its ugly head as their pent up anxiety finds its way somehow, losing sleep and fearing what may happen if they cannot do enough. This is a really passionate exploration as I pour my heart into this episode combining what I have learned from my own experience and coaching other clients as they seek to find their own purposeful work. There are 3 parts in this series: - Why our current understanding of work is not sustainable; - A brief history of work; - How to find your own purposeful work.
