Mineral Exploration and Penny Stocks with Rod Blake
1h 9m · PublishedRod started his career in 1970 as a technologist fresh out of BCIT standing next to a drill rig in the Kamloops area. He was working for an exploration company on a site that became a substantial copper discovery named Afton Mines.
They were pulling native copper out of the drill holes, something many people said was not possible. As Rod puts it, the only thing missing was the print of the Queen on it.
The financial path of the stock went from low pennies in 1970 to an initial peak of $15 in 1972 and to a final high of $50 when it was merged with Teck.
The mine is still producing copper, some 50 years later.

Introduction
41m · PublishedWith the worldwide pandemic, markets are changing rapidly on a daily and hourly basis. We are seeing some things, that frankly, have never been seen before.
The TSX has lost 10 years of gains in the last 2 week and the price of oil for Alberta Oil has dropped to an all time low - it's now comparable to the price of a Big Mac meal. This will have devastating consequences for the economy.
Jim and George will try and get a handle on where some opportunities might arise and how we might prepare for things that could change our lives.
