When walking into Boise Brewing’s downtown taproom it is hard to miss all of the mugs lining the walls. Contrary to typical mug club memberships, these mugs actually belong to the many owners of Boise Brewing. In this episode, I sat down with Boise Brewing’s Marketing Director, Josh Letsinger, and Assistant Brewer, Sam Wallace. Josh and Sam both explain how a community owned brewery operates and how this business plan came to be. We also discuss the beer they are brewing, their brewhouse, and how they are working with non-profits to give back to the community. Hear all of this and more in this episode of Brewery Talks! Noticing the unique lineup of beers, I wanted to sit down with Dillinger Brewing Company to hear what went into these delicious glasses of suds. The founder Eric Sipe, who just recently celebrated the brewery’s 2 year anniversary at the young age of only 28, took some time today to explain how these beers came to be. From making beers for NASA, pairing beer with girl scout cookies, explaining exactly what a Brut IPA is, to pouring gallons of Vermont Maple syrup into beer this episode is quick and informational for all beer lovers.
