Lundyn Carter (@lundyncarter) is the CEO and cofounder of Laine London (@lainelondon), a first-of-its-kind tech-enabled startup leveraging the clothing-as-as-service model to help brides-to-be say "yes!" to renting their dream wedding dress. 

Lundyn holds an MBA in Business Leadership and Strategy from Emory University and Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Mass Communications from Flagler College.

Established in 2018 and based in Atlanta, Laine London’s mission is to provide brides-to-be with convenient and cost-efficient access to wedding dresses without the financial, emotional or social burdens of ownership.

There are many benefits of a sharing economy and Laine London encourages women to take advantage of these—by renting rather than purchasing their wedding gowns. Laine London was recently named one of the recipients of both the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund and American Express’ 100 for 100 program.

Informed by experience as well as education, Mindy and Tara have designed compact, lightweight packs filled with essentials of wound care and first response. Their goal at Cascade First Aid is to build a growing line of emergency equipment products that will be in the packs of every outdoor enthusiast. 

Mindy is an experienced Product and Operations Manager with time spent working in industries ranging from tech to outdoor products to aerospace. She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused on Management and Strategy.

Tara is an Emergency Physician in Auburn, Washington.

When Marian, the cofounder and publisher of the literary magazine Explosion-Proof, met David, the cofounder of award-winning winery Pheasant’s Tears, they knew the combination of wine and storytelling was simply simpatico. Partners in life and in business, they built Archer Roose to reflect their shared passions and values: lively conversations, craftsmanship and a belief that we must all do our part to build a better world.

Archer Roose wines are served at James Beard Award Winning Restaurants, on JetBlue airlines, and are now being distributed directly to consumers in 44 states in the U.S. Archer Roose has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast, SevenFifty, CNBC, Forbes and the Washington Post for their quality and sustainable formats.

Laura Kleiman — Improving the Lives of Cancer Patients, Repurposing Non-Cancer Generic Drugs, AI-Driven Technology, Practicing Patience, The Power of Collaboration, and Much More (#006)!

Laura Kleiman (@LauraKleiman) is the Founder and CEO of Reboot Rx (@rebootrx), a nonprofit tech startup fast-tracking the development of affordable cancer treatments using repurposed generic drugs and AI technology. 

Laura’s career has focused on building collaborations across disciplines and sectors to expand treatment options for cancer patients. She was previously Scientific Research Director in the Department of Data Sciences at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 

Laura earned a PhD in Computational and Systems Biology from MIT and conducted 

translational cancer research as an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Laura was recently featured in Forbes and received the 40 Under 40 in Cancer Award.

Reboot Rx is a tech nonprofit startup led by cancer researchers, data scientists, and business professionals trained at MIT, Stanford, and Harvard Medical School. 

They have received awards from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Fast Forward, Google.org, MassChallenge, The Greater Sum Foundation, New England Innovation Awards, and MassBio.

Ora D. Tanner (@odtanner) is the cofounder and Chief Learning Officer at The AI Education Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit centering equity and accessibility in AI education. The AI Education Project educates students, especially those disproportionately impacted by AI and automation, with the conceptual knowledge and skills they need to thrive as future workers, creators, consumers, citizens, and leaders of emerging technologies.

At the AI Education Project, Ora oversees learning experience design and development, conducts pedagogical and design research, and performs advocacy work around K-12 AI literacy.

Ora holds both a B.S. and M.S. in physics and has 12+ years classroom experience as a science educator and ed tech practitioner. She is completing her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology and Educational Measurement at the University of South Florida where she studies the social, cultural, and political aspects of education and technology.
