She is a 4th Year at the University of Virginia pursuing a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Management and a track in Global Commerce, a B.A. in Economics, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Innovation in Business. Alice is currently a fourth year at the University of Virginia studying Commerce with a concentration in Finance. She's had many experiences in the financial field including being a global market sales and trading intern and equity research intern. Now, she’s an incoming real estate ESG analyst at Blackstone! Maya is a senior finance student at Hofstra University studying Business Administration and Finance. She’s currently interning as an editorial intern at Real Vision, and as a former summer intern at JP Morgan and the New York State Senate, she has experience in many different areas of finance and is excited to share some wisdom with you. Next year, she will be working at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst in New York.

He is currently studying in the University of Virginia, under the McIntire School of commerce, majoring in Commerce with a concentration in finance and management. In the past, Philip has interned in PWC, and served as a risk consulting intern. Today, we are glad to sit down with Philip to further learn more about his consulting experience!

Hey everyone, welcome to episode 2 of Season 3 of Futures for Finance! This week’s guest speaker is Maya Kass. Maya is finishing up her last year at UVA majoring in Finance and Data Science. Maya has an extensive background in finance given her internships in private equity firms, hedge funds and not to mention her internship with Barclays last summer in their tech IB division. We’re excited for Maya to share with us her experiences in the financial services industry!

Hi everyone and welcome back!  We're kicking off season 3 of Futures for Finance with Paul Chang.

Paul Chang is currently an Investment Banking Analyst at Guggenheim Partners, where he had previously interned. Throughout his 4 years of college, he held many internship positions at a variety of companies.

Paul recently received his Bachelors degree from the NYU Stern School of Business where he majored in finance and minored in English literature.

Paul’s episode will be released this upcoming Friday, October 29th!

Who’s excited to kick off season 3 with Paul Chang?

Welcome to the final episode of Season Two! This week, we chatted with Alfredo Rivera about investment banking.

Alfredo is currently an associate at Brunswick Group where he advises c-suite, corporate finance groups, and investor relations teams on strategic initiatives and business-critical financial communications. Previously, he worked at CitiBank as an Investment Banking Associate and at Banco Popular as a Head Trader. Alfredo graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics where he was a Fresh Person Conference Group Leader and a club swimmer. He then went on to get his MBA at Georgetown University, where he was a Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society inductee, the VP of Social in the Latin American Business Association, and President of Out@MSB.
