Chris Witterick - Capacity Lab, Liverpool Capacity works with brilliant organisations across the public and third sectors to improve the way public services are delivered. Chris has been with Capacity for three and a half years, and thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every minute, as they really are great organisation that looks after it's people. Chris is involved in a number of different projects ranging from housing to social care, with the constant goal of trying to improve people's lives. Chris have previously held a couple of senior roles, in some well-known organisations in Liverpool, and has a great network of friends and contacts across the business community.

Hannah Forbes - Founder and Consultant at The Funding Crowd Forbes is the founder of The Funding Crowd, a research-led crowdfunding and start-up investment consultancy helping businesses raise on crowdfunding sites. She’s worked on over 50 campaigns internationally and maintained a 100% success rate. In 2020 she was named on the Top 100 Women in FinTech by FinTech Magazine and on the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist.

Katharine Robertson - Head of Campus Development at STFC Daresbury Katherine completed a PhD in particle physics at the University of Liverpool in 2007. Since graduating, Katharine has worked for the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in roles in Programme Management, Impact Evaluation, Business Development in the area of particle accelerator science and technology, and now Campus Development. She is based at STFC’s Daresbury Laboratory which is home to a community nearly 150 technology-focussed businesses. Her role is to help steer the strategy for the site as it grows, to raise its profile, and to maximise the benefit of the campus to the region and the wider UK.

Lauren Shaw - Senior Business Manager (Internal Recruitment) at Hays Recruitment Lauren studies Geography at Manchester University and always knew she wanted a role that connected people and business, so joined a large Oil and Gas firm where she recruited for their graduate scheme across Europe. She was made redundant and joined Hays in May 2011, and so it will be her 10-year anniversary soon! looks after recruitment for the North West and a key reason she has stayed with the business is the people that she works with on a day to day basis.

Over the past 16 years Laura has held positions in several charities including Senior Area Fundraiser for Claire House Children’s Hospice and Director of Fundraising for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. In 2019 Laura moved into the Arts, taking the role of Head of Development at TATE Liverpool.
