Marisa Cali

Marisa Cali's Bio:

I prefer handwritten notecards over emails. I prefer an art installation opening over a movie theater opening. In between meetings and recording my podcast, I like to visit coffee shops for a cup a coffee, a photo for my #HowDoYouLikeYourCoffeeTour Instagram project and chatting with others about how to approach digital marketing effectively. With a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego, I struggled with finding my niche in corporate America. Not knowing where my career was headed, there was one thing I knew for sure... I knew I wanted to live in New York City. I was obsessed with the city. So, when I was 22, II bought a one-way plane ticket, put money away in my savings account, and eventually, moved to Queens in early 2003. While I was exploring my way through the big city, I struggled through various jobs that tested my perseverance. After a few bumps in the road and a brief stint back home in San Diego, I eventually found my calling in digital marketing. For the last 11 years, I have evolved with the industry and possess the passion for learning new online marketing methods. In 2015, my natural creativity allowed me to venture into the world of entrepreneurship, specifically in the social media space. Now I consider myself a digital do-gooder that specializes in visual content on social media while maintaining consistency and developing 🔑 key strategies that work for heart-centered people who value their time. 🐼 In addition to doing the strategizing, I host a podcast where I have conversations about the intricacies of being a business owner and doing the hard work❗
