On this episode I introduce you to my friend Carla who is a professional dancer, creator, and heels instructor. She is a beautiful person inside and out who really sets the stage and has created an amazing place for anyone to come and dance. We go down her timeline from starting dance at the age of 4 when her mom signed her up, to taking a break, and coming back stronger than ever. After going on tour in 2021 and performing at The House of Blues in Las Vegas before attending the Latin Grammy's she has decided to make a move for more opportunities and working towards her dreams like becoming a dancer for Mr. World Wide Himself Pit Pull and J Balvin just to name a few.

Meet local entrepreneur El Paso raised Bernice who shares the message behind her business "My Beloved Mama". As a mother of 3 she has experienced what most women go through after having kids. From feeling alone, scared, and wondering if she is doing this "mom thing" right she found a support group who welcomed her with arms wide open and helped her realize that there is no instruction book on how to be a mother. Life is about learning and working on ourselves to be better today than we were yesterday. She applies this to being a mom and wants to spread the word to other moms reminding them that they are loved and not alone. Meet Gabe Escamilla, local entrepreneur born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Gabe takes us down his entrepreneur journey as he started his first business at the age of 16, had a 2nd business at the age of 18, then became part owner of a towing company, and now he is a real estate investor who wants to share his knowledge. 

What started out as just a PODCAST interview has ended with a new event for the community.

If you know me or follow me you will know I love plants and have grown quite the collection ever since the lockdown happened in 2020 due to Covid. Just like so many others during this time I had to find something to keep me busy but also something that would bring me some kind of peace during the pandemic. I noticed people buying plants and sending them as gifts to others due to us not able to visit anyone outside of our household. The business was local and called BLOOM. Found them on IG from others tagging them. What started off with a DM, order, and delivery ended in a friendship. Andrea sat down with me in the Lavender Lounge and shared the story how she and her roommate Fernanda started this business.  Get to know her a little more and catch a vibe as we talk and exchange energy while she tells us a little more about who she is.
