EP16: Kara Goldin

52m · Published 19 Jul 10:00

I am so excited to share this week's guest: Hint Water founder Kara Goldin. Kara is a true entrepreneur in every sense of the word. Her journey to founding her company is full of twists and turns and reminded me that the path to being a founder and a leader is never a straight road. You have to be open to some detours. I found her advice to be refreshing, straight forward, and actionable, something we need more of when it comes to talking about founding a company.

Her book, Undaunted: Overcoming Doubts and Doubters, is excellent and is available now - I highly recommend it to anyone looking for how to overcome the voices who want to see you fail.

This week's guest is real estate legend Ryan Serhant. Ryan and I covered a huge range of topics and I was so impressed with him. A true entrepreneur, he talked about leaning into moments when others might pull away, forging ahead, listening to his gut, and how he got his start.

His new book, Big Money Energy, is a New York Times bestseller and chock full of lots of wisdom. I highly recommend it.

On this episode, I sit down with a titan of the toy industry, Melissa Bernstein. Not only did Melissa found one of the most successful toy companies of all time, she also has overcome immense mental health walls and obstacles in her journey doing so. She was so candid and raw during our conversation, so open, I was moved by her story and changed by meeting her. Her struggle is something so many of us can relate to, but we don't discuss enough. I hope you enjoy the episode as much as I enjoyed the conversation.
