Despite this background, economic pressures remain and consumers are increasingly careful about how they spend their money. This is countered by continuing used car stock shortages in some sectors and high prices and good margins. However, the exception is used electric vehicle sales which have gone through a price realignment as supply and demand begin to balance out.
