In the first part of episode 8, Justin analyzes his recent experience of buying and selling a home during one of the hottest runs for housing and compares this to owning stocks. 

For the second part of the episode, he shares the details of an investment he made in an apartment complex through a real estate partnership, known as real estate syndication.  Real estate syndication (or property syndication) is a partnership between several investors who combine their skills, resources, and capital to purchase and manage a property they otherwise couldn't afford or manage on their own.
