Hello Nurses Happy Hour Listeners! We are introducing something that's been in the works for a little while now called A Day in the Life Series. In this series, we plan to highlight different avenues in nursing and gain perspective on what it's really like in each field. We are hoping to learn some things ourselves but most importantly equip you all to find enjoyment in your career and pursue something you're genuinely passionate about! We are starting with one of our nursing school friends who pursued a career in Mental Health and Addictions and is currently working on an inpatient psychiatry unit. Listen in as we chat about the highs and lows of this field, and why he's passionate about it!

Your girls are back with a new episode of Nurses Happy Hour! On this weeks episode, we discuss our different types of nursing schedules with you all, how we make the most of our time off & how we try to set ourselves up for success while working! After a much needed vacation, Nurses Happy Hour is BACK with another episode. On this week's chat, we talk with Emara, an OR nurse in pediatrics and an avid yoga lover and mindfulness teacher. She dives into how mindfulness and routine has improved her life personally and professionally as well as gives us the low down on her new virtual platform. Did someone say Episode 4?? This week on Nurses Happy Hour we thought we would dive into a heavy topic surrounding COVID-19. It continues to be brought up throughout our episodes, so we figured why not make an entire episode about it and tackle it head on. Listen in, as we discuss our experiences with COVID, how we have dealt with lockdown, the changes we've noticed in patient interactions and how we have been *trying* to keep sane during it all. 

Episode 3 already! This week's episode of Nurses Happy Hour we get to know Hillary and Melissa - both full time Registered Nurses who met working bedside on a neurosurgery floor. They bonded through their humour in dark nursing jokes & night shifts and since then, have both explored other avenues of nursing. Despite not presently working together, they have joined forces to give us The Sunday Edit - an incredible new business focusing on the well being of nurses.
