#23 Linzie Clawson - Founder of Fed Up Kitchen talks Nutrition, Goal Setting, and Mindset for Greatness

25m · Published 19 Aug 13:16

About Linzie:

My mother always stressed the importance of health to all 12 of her children. I never knew why my mother did it. Now that Fed Up has been up and running for the last few years, I see why.

Today, I not only educate my 4 children in nutrition, but I get to share my love and passion for healthy eating with so many others. I love that so many people are interested in their health and want to make a positive lifestyle change.

When I started Fed Up, I didn’t know where it would go or how it would grow. My first two customers were friends who wanted me to make them some healthy meals because they were so impressed with my personal results. They both loved my first Fed Up program and saw amazing results. Next their wives tried it, and then their friends, and then their friend’s friend’s, and before I knew it, 3.5 years later, I’m now opening a second location because of the vitality and renewed health and energy the Fed Up program brings to so many people. I’m telling you, when you feel this new life of health and energy, you won’t ever want to go back to your old eating habits.

AND I KNOW MY PROGRAM WORKS BECAUSE I LIVE IT!

I have competed in fitness shows that really pushed me to my limits. The results were great, but I created a more maintainable program that you can live and enjoy!

Fed Up is a lifestyle, that will help anyone reach their personal goals. With simple ingredients, convenient healthy meals, yummy treats, and nutritious green smoothies (that are so satisfying), I have made it easy and delicious to live a healthy life! It’s a lifestyle you will love to live forever!

I want to grow old and play with my children’s children. With my lifelong goal of taking care of my body through nutrition, I not only know it’s possible for me but for anyone who wants to live a healthier, happier lifestyle! Feeling good from the inside out is where it all begins.

#21 Brent Bohn - Owner of 43 McDonalds

31m · Published 22 Jul 08:00

This week I interview Brent Bohn, who is the owner of 43 McDonald's franchises. For anybody that's ever been in the fast food industry or been in the franchise business, then you are familiar with how difficult it is to run even one restaurant, one location. And Brent has 43 currently and he's buying more all of the time. His story is truly one that I think a lot of people build to learn from. It is a grind to be in that industry and it's really something that I love the brand story because he started at the bottom. His father in law had a couple of McDonald's restaurants and brought Brent in, but he had to start literally at the very bottom in the fast food industry and worked his way up to ultimately become partner and start buying his own franchises. And I love being able to share his story because he's been able to do so much with what he's done.

#20 Ryan Gardner - Bucked Up

58m · Published 06 Jul 08:00

Ryan has been involved in a very successful Internet marketing company since 2001 when the Internet began! Promoting everything from supplements, biz opp, and lead generation. With his twin brother Jeff Gardner, their affiliate network (with only 3 other employees) did over $25M+ in revenue in 2010 driving traffic. Ryan and Jeff also saw that social media was trending and started their own Social media agency in the beginning of 2015.

Eventually, Ryan and Jeff realized it was best to promote their own offer and products.

His involvement with Deer Antler Spray began before it became headline news with professional sports. Ryan purchased the domain name DeerAntlerSpray.com in 2013 prior to Ray Lewis getting accused of taking it before the Super Bowl and sales exploded overnight. Ryan says it was "Right Time...Right Place" and attributes it to being blessed and by working smart and hard. Shortly after the Super Bowl he got Deer Antler Spray into GNC and sold thousands of bottles a week for the next two years. Ryan, with the help of Jose Reyes who owned his own GNC, came up with the idea to launch a Pre Workout. Despite the wishes and threat of being "grounded" by his parents he purchased BUCKEDUP.com for $1500 and named the first pre workout "Bucked Up". With a great logo, flavor profile, right ingredients, and a non proprietary blend the company has never looked back and making waves in the supplement industry.
