He was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago, which pushed him to follow his dreams of owning his own tattoo school. Im happy to report he is cancer free and his business is thriving.

Dog Fit Dallas is a dog pack walking and training company that was started after Art Ortiz lost his corporate job. He was out with his three dogs when a stranger asked if he was a dog walker, which actually offended him! In his mind, he was better than that. Little did he know that stranger planted a seed, which later came to fruition in 2012. Dog Fit Dallas isn't just a business, it's a community of dog lovers, and Art's love and understanding of animals is definitely no secret. Art is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and has also been featured in D Magazine’s Dallas 40. He works closely with Caesar Milan, "The Dog Whisperer," and travels to California and Florida frequently to help train others on Caesar's Philosophies. Listen in as he shares his inspiring story about how he got started.
