In this XCX I talk to LaWave. He is a CT based rapper and music artist who is fresh to the scene but has a deep history in 860's roots. This was an eye-opening interview that brought new light to the genre of "trap rap" though Lawave doesn't think that his music is and to be honest I agree with him. He believes that it is more simple than that. This is the music that you listen to that doesn't have to be put into a box and have all the stereotypes of that genre. And to be honest, before we talked stereotyped his music into that box, as well as him. He showed me that even though his music may fall under that category that he doesn't. He is as real as it gets around people who I think are putting up a facade. In my opinion, I believed trap rap to be all about money, drugs, and women; materialistic things that don't have a deeper meaning. But, when it comes LaWave the things he talks about, go deeper even though they may seem to rest on the surface. In this second part of XCASSETX we go into Jordans favorite album by Moziah Sama: Rich and Lonely Aspirations. We go track by track through out the whole story of R.A.L and have Moziah break down his thoughts and feelings he was having while writing the album. It goes into how he feels like he feels like he has to hold on to his own energy and time even though he wants to give it out to those around him. He has been stepped on before by members of previous groups that he's been apart of and is worn out by it. Even so he's not going to let them suck out his will to create and succeed far above them.
