Public speaking is a challenge. Sometimes our career depends on it, or sometimes even family commitments place us in a situation that we must stand on a stage and make a speech. Toastmaster, a volunteer-based organisation, can help us manage that normal anxiety. Their members have committed to themselves and to their community to achieve master's in public speaking. Based on information from Engineers Australia, 82% of engineers are men and only 12% of women.
