Getting business right the first time Ft. JaVaughna Bevel

25m · Published 01 May 17:32

JaVauhna (JoJo) and I chop it up about what a solid business foundation looks like, how to choose an idea when you’re multi-passionate, and why she created her business.

JaVaughna Bevel is a certified life/personal fulfillment coach, corporate leadership trainer, published author, speaker and dedicated mom supporter.

One of her many talents is showing women how to confidently Elevate, Amplify and Dominate in multiple areas of life to achieve the success and satisfaction they desire. Using her own experiences as a working mother with big dreams, she is able to impact the lives of women in ways she never imagined.

As a mother of 4 building her legacy, she refuses to idly stand by and watch other multifaceted women hold their dreams hostage. Her eagerness to see other women reach their true potential is a driving force behind her podcast “The Unapologetic Mom”. The show provides a platform for women [who just so happen to be mothers] to discuss their trials and triumphs on the journey to success, happiness and fulfillment!

JaVaughna shares her journey from incomplete to completely filled with hope of inspiring other women to take that leap and work purposefully on their passions.

I sit down and talk to the amazing Kenya Nalls ( creator of @Allthingsloop) about the four ways to get rid of negative thoughts, what it takes to make an impact and how we can silence the negative inner self and still thrive.

I love this episode so much because it was so close to home at the time or recording.  I even become transparent as I share a little bit on when I was getting ready to shut my business down and pulled down my social media sites.

Create a side Hustle Ft. Kathe Michele

25m · Published 02 Apr 00:11

Dun dun duunnnn Episode one!

FIRST EPISODE ALERT 🚨: •

In this weeks’ episode, I had the honor of interviewing Kathe Michele. Kathe is both a business owner and coach.  She coaches enthusiastic educators on how to combine their experience teaching with savvy business skills to create additional streams of income. In addition to becoming an educator, Kathe stepped out on faith from 2008-2010 to start her first business. She and her sister shared a love for cooking with their families and wanted to create a business that would combine their experience with teaching kids and making great food. Before they knew it, their ideas of opening a cooking school for kids turned into a real business plan and The Kids Cooking Place was born! Kathe stated that creating her own business from the ground up was one of the best experiences of her life!

Several years later,  she decided to document the journey that they took to open their business so that it can serve as a guide to help other teachers become teacherpreneurs too! In 2016,  she self-published her first book, Make Money Teaching Cooking Classes: A Guide to Start Your Own Kids Cooking Business. And she is currently working on her next one! Now that’s something to brag about!
