Daily Leadership Tips and Discussions

The Secret to Setting up Clear Communication begins before the conversation ever begins, with the "Preframing." I learned this from my Sales Coach, Justin Janowski of Faith 2 Influence, and it is not only the secret to setting up a great sales discussion, it's the secret to setting up any conversation, and it gets buy-in from the beginning.

You can find out more about Faith 2 Influence at https://www.faith2influence.com/

Leadership Significant Events

SEASON 9 The 2024 Leader

Daily Leadership Tips and Discussions

There are many significant events that happen in a leader's career. Sometimes we pause and take notice; sometimes we don't. Experiencing the total eclipse on April 8th 2024 was what I would consider a significant event. It allowed me to pause and enjoy the astronomical event that is rare to see. I watched the eclipse with my wife and two youngest kids, and we were in awe.

Sometimes as leaders we don't pause and recognize the significant events in our lives and the lives of our team members.

The Microwave Leader and How to Prevent It

15m · Published 09 Apr 10:49

SEASON 9 The 2024 Leader

Daily Leadership Tips and Discussions

The "Microwave Leader" is a term I recently heard John C Maxwell say, and his description is something I've been saying for years. A Microwave Leader is a leader who gets the minimum amount of leadership training, and is expected to excel in their leadership position. Companies cannot expect significant improvements from simply sending their leaders to an annual conference or a 1-2 day conference. Leadership Development is a continual process that needs to be instilled in leaders so they expand their knowledge a little at a time and apply what they learn as they go.

Season 9 is a little different. After a 2-month break (Dec 2023 – Jan 2024), Paul is focusing on not only giving tips about how to be a great leader, but also a leader who is respected, a leader who people want to follow, a leader who can confidently navigate their way through both personal and professional challenges, a leader who is not afraid to share their faith while living it out, a leader who knows his/her purpose and lives to fulfill that purpose every day, and a leader who has no regrets!

When Transitioning out of the military to civilian life, the military member is not the only one who is impacted; the entire family is impacted, including the military spouse and kids.
