44m · Published 06 Oct 04:55

We’re talking all about listening (Oh the irony)

Kim Kaupe on positioning and showing up more intentionally online

42m · Published 29 Sep 02:00

We’re kicking off season 05 with a bang with the incredible Kim Kaupe joining me to talk about showing up more intentionally online.

Kim told me that people can NO you before they KNOW you because of how we show up online. I give her a call to talk about what we need to know about positioning ourselves in this globally connected society we live in.

In January 2020 at age 34 Kim kicked off a tour with Oprah while juggling clients like Paul McCartney, The NY Mets, Ace Comic Con & Shawn Mendes. In those 9 years she learned how to go from zero clients to Oprah, no one knowing who she was to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and not knowing what an LLC was to securing offers from 4 out of 5 sharks on Shark Tank.

Kim describers herself as an accidental entrepreneur and now works with executives & future leaders to harness their voice & image to expand their network. She dusts off the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary in her clients whose perceived value in the workplace does not match the actual value they bring to the table.

It's something that touches almost every part of our life and yet something we don't talk a lot about openly.

My guest is Tammy Barton, managing director of Australian business MyBudget and she told me that when we transform our money it can transform our life. Luke Mathers on the good side of stress

53m · Published 18 Nov 12:59

We're Talking About Stress

Trigger Warning: this episode briefly discusses issues around mental health, depression and suicide.

My guest is speaker, coach and author Luke Mathers and he told me that stress can be a good thing, even a superpower if we don't let it stick to us.

Today I give him a call to explore how we can lead ourselves better in the area of stress.

Luke is the author of Stress Teflon, and 28 years in business have taught him that stress isn’t going away any time soon. If you want to have better health, relationships and success, you need to get good at stress.

As one of the original directors of Specsavers in Australia, Luke was part of the biggest retail roll-out in Australia’s history. 100 stores in 100 days. His practice was the biggest in the country and set global records that were previously unheard of.

Luke retired for the first time at age 31. After transforming his UK Specsavers practice (increasing turnover 350% in just three years) Luke returned to Australia to relax and put his feet up. It wasn't long before he realised he missed something....STRESS!

Helping people become Stress Teflon and to RESET Stress is his mission. Through his keynote speeches, workshops and coaching he helps people turn threats into challenges. As the book says “it’s good being you when stress doesn’t stick.”
