So far most virtual events just have not rivalled their in-person counterparts. One of the things you often hear is: virtual is just not the same as being in the same room as your peers.  But maybe that is the point. In-person and virtual events are different. They just are.

 Whatever your experience was so far, there are ways to make things like networking more fun…. And dare we say it, actually work.
