The most important mission of Louisiana's community and technical colleges is to support students both on and off campus. On this episode, we discuss the importance of self-care and the resources available to students who may be experiencing environmental factors that have a detrimental effect on their education and their lives. Dr. Rene Cintron is joined by Dr. Christy Montgomery, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Diversity, and Inclusion at Northshore Technical Community College, Christy Montgomery (no relation) and Sophia Dixon Brown from The Wellspring Alliance.
