In a very Melbourne-centric episode, we are talking Good Beer Week with one of the co-founders and speak to Exit Brewery and Blackman's brewery about their events for the week, as well as the other goings on at the breweries.

This week we chat Dan Dainton, the founder and brewer from Dainton Family Brewery bout his new (still to be built) brewery, contract brewing as well as safety lessons in the brewhouse. In addition we have news from all around the country, from SA, to WA, to Qld... ok, most of the country.

We spoke to Dave from Mountain Goat. We discussed recent media attention for good beer, the CBIA awards, then spoke about about the goings on at the brewery, learned about their Australian tours, barrel ageing and the challenges of being one of Australia's pioneers of good beer. We have to apologise for the audio in this one,one of themicrophones was having some clipping issues which we fixed up as best we could.

We spoke to Matt Houghton from Boatrocker Brewery in Braeside (Melbourne). We spoke about their beers both new and old, their barrel program, what goes into a sour beer and got great insight into starting a brewery. We also learned how Matt got started and discussed Belgian beers, Guinness, German beers and heaps of other interesting things.
