Few groups of people in recent memory have been so vilified by our president and in our media as have Latin American migrants. Charlie speaks withKelsey Freeman, author ofNo Option But North:The Migrant World and the Perilous Path Across the Border.In 2016, she went to Mexico to teach English at a university and study migration. During her stay, she found the local migrant shelter, became a frequent visitor and spent much of the next year interviewing people passing through.
